Backend Developer


Well established ISP and Telecoms company is hiring for a NOC Support Engineer with at least 2-3 years NOC experience. The NOC Support Engineer is responsible for the management, troubleshooting and resolution of customer queries and faults that are raised to the Network Operations Centre by means of email, ticketing system or phone calls.

Responsibilities

Log and complete service requests via the helpdesk system per standard operating procedures

bullet point

Ensure prompt

bullet point

regular and accurate feedback to all customers

bullet point

Understand and fulfil service level agreements to customers

bullet point

Take ownership of client faults reported and see problems through to resolution

bullet point

Identify and escalate priority issues timeously and accurately

bullet point

Handle escalations from Tier 1 Support Engineers ensuring feedback and mentoring thereafter.

Experience

Must have at least 2-3 years’ experience in a NOC Environment as a NOC support Exeperince and focus in client relationships Advanced Computer Literacy Intermediate MS Excel Intermediate MS Outlook Intermediate MS Word
